Privacy Policy
Wellman Energy Solutions LLC ("WES," "we," "us") operates wellmanenergysolutions.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only, not to the monitoring platforms or project data WES manages under a client agreement, which are governed by that agreement.
Information you give us
When you submit the building screening form, you provide your name, organization, building type, utility, email address, and optionally a phone number. If you used the self-check on the page, the items you checked are sent with the form so we can prepare for the conversation. The site does not store your self-check answers unless you submit the form.
We use this information to respond to your request, to prepare for a screening conversation, and, if you become a client, to deliver services. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to third-party marketing lists. We contact you only about your request unless you later ask for something else.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site collects standard technical information: pages viewed, the time of the visit, the referring site, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. We use the following services to do this:
- Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
- Dealfront (when enabled), which identifies the organization associated with a visiting network, for example a school district or municipality. It does not identify individual people.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag (when enabled), which reports aggregate job titles, industries, and companies of visitors who arrive from LinkedIn and may set a cookie. LinkedIn's privacy policy governs LinkedIn's use of that data.
- Google Analytics (when enabled), which uses cookies to measure how the site is used. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
Links in our social media posts may include tags that tell us which post brought you here. These tags contain no personal information.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookies. Third-party analytics services listed above may set cookies as described. Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies; the site works without them.
Form processing
Form submissions are delivered to us by Formspree, Inc., which processes the data on our behalf under its own privacy policy and retains a copy for a limited period to deliver and protect against spam.
Retention
We keep screening requests for as long as needed to respond and, if a project follows, for the life of the client relationship plus the period required by our records and tax obligations. You can ask us to delete your request at any time.
Your choices
You may ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to be contacted by emailing brad@wellmanenergysolutions.com or calling (607) 438-1030. We respond within 30 days.
Children
This site is intended for adults acting on behalf of organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Form data is transmitted encrypted. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
